Wow! Chris and Rita had a wonderful send off dinner for Rose and I. Rita is a great cook and she and I have had many a great time cooking together at her condo on St Pete Beach. Chris helped me get our Smart Car Mrs Bean on the trailer. As you may not know, Chris and I go way back to the 4th grade together. Chris and I used to race sailboats, fish, and camp together as kids.
Rose and I did finally get the truck loaded and the condo cleaned today. We had an unexpected trip to St Pete pop up and got stuck in traffic on the way back.
But we are here and comfortably at Chris and Rita's house.
Tomorrow it is and 8 hour drive to Marietta GA for our first leg of the trip.
